EFFORTLESS TO USE

Setting up and taking down inflatable tents

Very little is needed to use an inflatable tent: no tools and no large team.

Aerise inflatable tents can be both set up and taken down by one person. This makes the tent highly practical before and after use: it can be erected in just a few steps and packed away again with ease.

Set-up video instructions

How do inflatable tents work and how are they set up?

Every Aerise® tent is equipped with the patent-pending One-Pump System. This design allows all the tent’s air chambers to be inflated simultaneously through a single valve, reducing the set-up time. When an electric air tent pump is used, a 4x4 m tent is fully inflated in less than five minutes. The video shows how an Aerise® inflatable tent can be set up with minimal effort.

  • One-Pump System

The One-Pump System reduces set-up time because the tent feet do not need to be inflated individually.

  • No mains connection required

When a manual or battery-powered pump is used, no mains connection is required to operate the inflatable tent.

  • No tools required

All elements of the tent are connected, so no tools other than a pump are needed for set-up.

  • One-person set-up

The carefully designed structure allows one person to set up the tent independently.

Take-down video instructions

How is an inflatable tent taken down and packed away?

Taking down an inflatable tent is almost effortless. Once the valves are opened, air escapes from the air tubes. The inflatable tent can then be packed away with minimal effort and stored until it is next required. The video shows the correct procedure step by step.

Frequently asked questions about set-up and take-down

Find answers about set-up times, transport, anchoring accessories and connecting multiple inflatable tents.

  • How long does it take to set up an Aerise inflatable tent?

The setup time depends on the tent size and the type of pump used. With an electric pump, setup takes:

    • 3x3 m tent: 2–3 minutes
    • 4x4 m tent: 3–5 minutes
    • 5x5 m tent: 7–10 minutes
    • 6x6 m tent: 10–15 minutes
  • How many people are needed for set-up?

Using an electric air tent pump, the Aerise inflatable tent can be set up by one person.

  • Is a mains connection required to set up and use the inflatable tent?

No, no mains connection is required. The inflatable tent can be set up using a hand pump or a battery-powered electric pump and does not require continuous inflation for use.

  • How are Aerise tents transported?

A man carries a transport backpack on his back, allowing Aerise inflatable tents to be transported compactly and deployed flexibly.

Lightweight and compact, Aerise inflatable tents are easy to transport with their transport bag. Only 1 to 2 people are needed. The inflatable tent fits easily in a car or service vehicle.

  • Can multiple tents be connected together?

The Aerise tent connection seamlessly links two inflatable tents of the same size.

Yes. The tent connection accessory can be used to connect two inflatable tents of the same size.

  • How can I secure Aerise tents in severe weather? What anchoring options are available?

We offer various anchoring solutions to secure your inflatable shelter on different surfaces.

On soft ground, the tent can be securely fixed using the fastening kit, which includes pegs and ropes. For hard surfaces or high wind conditions, Aerise recommends using water ballast barrels, wall ballast weights, or leg weights.

  • Do I need tools to attach the accessories to the tent?

No tools are required to attach the accessories to the tent. The LED strips and wall ballast weights are secured using loops or eyelets. The foot ballast is attached with a click fastener. To secure the inflatable tent with the guy set, a hammer is needed – it’s included in the kit.
