Weatherproof inflatable tents

Rain, wind or snow: Aerise inflatable tents are designed for professional outdoor use and remain reliable even when weather conditions change.

With Aerise inflatable tents, outdoor operations can be planned with greater confidence, whether on hot summer days or during a rainy spring season. Every detail of the structure is designed for outdoor use, from the dome-shaped roof that allows precipitation to run off, to the tent fabric developed to withstand different weather conditions. Developed by Aerise, the Pirontex® textile meets the specific requirements for durable use in the open air.

Waterproof

Strong in Rain

Aerise inflatable tents are 100% waterproof and offer a 5,000 mm water column. This is made possible by several key details:

  • Pirontex® textile: The dense weave of the fabric prevents water from penetrating, whether it comes from rain, mist or snow.
  • Dome-shaped roof: The construction allows precipitation to run off efficiently, so the textile is not stressed by the weight of heavy water pooling.
  • Sealed seams
  • Covered zips

With sidewalls and a floor, the inside of the tent can be fully protected from the weather. This helps ensure that trade fair stands, catering events or club celebrations can continue as planned, even when the weather changes.

Reliably protected

Protective tent extensions

Aerise offers closed sidewalls as well as models with windows or doors. All versions can be combined with the textile floor. With Rescue sidewalls and Rescue floors, Aerise tents can be adapted to the specific operating conditions of emergency situations.

Wind-resistant

Stable in gusts

The durable Pirontex® textile not only keeps rain out, it also helps protect the tent interior from wind. The refined construction of Aerise tents allows them to be used in winds of up to 60 km/h, provided they are anchored to the ground as recommended.

The certified wind resistance of Aerise tents is confirmed by professional wind tunnel tests as well as by practical field experience from our customers:

Our tent was used at a trade fair for the first time last weekend. When a severe storm swept across the exhibition grounds on Thursday evening and sent pole tents flying, we were worried that our 5x5 m Aerise tent might be affected too. Thanks to the water ballasts and the additional tent pegs, it stood securely and came through everything without damage. Thank you again for the excellent advice and fast delivery.” – GMS Fire & Rescue, Ingolstadt, Germany

For secure anchoring in wind

Anchoring accessories

With the Aerise range of anchoring accessories, tents can be secured on both hard and soft ground. The weights can be filled with water or sand to keep the inflatable tent securely in place.

A white Aerise tent is secured to the ground using a tension strap.

Fastening Kit

The set includes tension straps, pegs, ground stakes and a hammer, and is used for securing the tent on grass, sand or similar surfaces.

Leg weight (30 L)

Once filled with water or sand, the foot ballast is attached to the tent legs using a click fastener.

Water barrel (80 L)

With a capacity of 80 litres, the water ballast barrels keep the inflatable tent securely in place, even in strong gusts of wind.

Wall Ballast Weights (15 L)

Filled with water or sand, the ballasts stabilise the sidewalls and keep them tensioned even in windy conditions.

Built-In UV Protection

Reliable Shade on Sunny Days

On sunny days, Aerise inflatable tents made from Pirontex® create shaded areas for protection and retreat. They help protect people, products and food effectively from harmful UV radiation. With a certified UV protection factor of UPF 50+, at least 98% of ultraviolet rays are blocked.

In laboratory tests, our Pirontex® fabric even achieves UPF values of over 2,000. This is far above the value of 50 required for the highest official protection class.

UPF value Protection UV protection in %
UPF 15–24 Good 93,3–95,9
UPF 25–39 Very good 96,0–97,4
UPF 40–50+ Excellent 97,5–98+

The UV protection factor of Aerise tents has been confirmed by the independent German textile research institute Thüringen-Vogtland e.V., which is recognised by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS).

Frequently asked questions

Find clear information about using Aerise tents in rain, wind or snow. Learn more about set-up times and the anchoring required in windy conditions.

  • Is the Aerise inflatable tent waterproof?

Yes! Waterproof fabric, covered zippers and sealed seams ensure both water tightness and wind resistance for your inflatable tent.

  • What Wind Loads Can Inflatable Tents Withstand?

With correct and proper anchoring, depending on the size, our tents are wind resistant up to 60 km/h; tested and verified in a professional wind tunnel. The table below shows the minimum required weight per tent foot to secure your inflatable tent in strong winds.

      30 km/h 40 km/h 60 km/h
    3x3 m 13 kg 23 kg /
    4x4 m 18 kg 34 kg 89 kg
    5x5 m 27 kg 60 kg 135 kg
    6x6 m 40 kg 88 kg 153 kg

  • How quickly can an Aerise tent be set up as rain protection or a covered area?

The time required to set up an Aerise inflatable tent depends on its size and on the type of pump used. With the electric air tent pump, the set-up time is:

    • 3x3 m tent: 2 to 3 minutes
    • 4x4 m tent: 3 to 5 minutes
    • 5x5 m tent: 7 to 10 minutes
    • 6x6 m tent: 10 to 15 minutes
  • Can an inflatable tent be adapted flexibly to changing weather conditions?

Yes. Sidewalls and floors can be attached quickly and easily using zips and the eyelet system, allowing the tent to be adapted to each specific use. If wind picks up, the Aerise tent can be secured to the ground with the fastening kit or stabilised with water ballasts.

  • Is an Aerise tent also suitable for winter use?

Yes. Thanks to the dome shape of the tent, snow can slide off the roof more easily instead of accumulating on top. Nevertheless, during heavy snowfall, we recommend dismantling and storing the tent when it is not in use.
